This report provides statistics on trafficking cases, victims, screenings, risk, assistance, and more. "Findings are organized around the Trafficking Victims Protections Act (TVPA) five P's: Prevention, Protection, Prosecution, Policy, and Partnership" This safe house provides services described primarily under the "Protection" section of this report, which also describes why there is such a need.
There is a high concentration of human trafficking in central Florida in and around the Orlando area. The human trafficking task force works to find organizations like ours in the nearby area to find housing for rescued survivors. Many organizations cannot take women who have children, which is why the New Beginning Safe House is so necessary.
